George Roosevelt Robinson;70;of 629 Marguerite St.;Monessen;died Saturday;July 1;1973;at 12:30 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Lawrence County;Calhoun;Ala.;on June 29;1903;the son of the late Furman and Melinda Robinson. He retired in July;1968;from Page Division of American Chain and Cable;Monessen;and was a member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;where he had been a deacon and chorus leader. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Nevoida Robinson;two daughters;Odessa Ingram and Mrs.Harry (Vivian) Holmes;both of Monessen;three sons;Adam Ingram;Odell Ingram and Leroy Ingram;all of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.Rosa Molton and Mrs.Willie Sue Warden;both of Alabama and Mrs.Gussie McDonald of Aliquippa;two brothers;Furman Robinson and Theodore Robinson;both of Aliquippa;six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday and Wednesday. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.at Mr.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Edgar Archie;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
