Obituary

Joseph F.Ritarick,70,of 216 Cook Road,Fairhope,died Thursday,May 4,1972,at 6:50 p.m.in Brownsville Hospital. He was born in Czechoslovakia Sept.17,1901. He was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. A retired coal miner,he was a member of United Mine Workers Local 2244. Surviving are his widow,Margaret Brazzon Ritarcik,one daughter,Mrs.John (Dorothy) Canigiani of New Eagle,one brother,Frank Ritarcik of Fayette City,four sisters,Mrs.Frank (Mary) Palvekosky of Charleroi,Mrs.Frank (Margie) Vesely of Dunlevy,Mrs.George (Kathryn) Kaschok of Stockdale and Mrs.Fred (Dorothy) Slaney of Pittsburgh,four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received after 4 p.m.Saturday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where a Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m.and a Blessing service will be held Monday,May 8,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m.,at Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Stephen J.Drab as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
