Mrs. Mary Mackey Risku,79,of 1225 Rosecrest Ave.,Monessen,died in her sleep at her home Tuesday morning,July 20,1971. She was born in Vaassa, Finland,and was a Valley resident since 1900. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Risku,and two sons, David and William. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monessen. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William (Laina) Campbell of Los Angeles, Calif.,Mrs. Toimi (Tillie) Larmi of Monessen,with whom she made her home,and Mrs. Rollin (Violet) Shearer of San Jose, Calif.;one son, Eugene Risku of West Newton;14 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren;one sister, Mrs. William (Rachel) Price of Belle Vernon and two brothers, Otto Mackey of Warren,Ohio and Rudolph Mackey of Lake Shore. Mich. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 o'clock Tuesday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday,where a service will be held in the chapel Thursday,July 22 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald McCaid,pastor of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church,Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
