Marshall Robinson,59,of 920 Knox Ave.,Monessen,died Thursday,March 6,1969,after a brief illness. Born in Lawrence County, Ala. on Aug. 16,1909,he had lived in Monessen since 1927. Mr. Robinson retired in 1966 from the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Monessen. Surviving are his widow, Bernice;three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Jones of Monessen, Patricia Ann Yancy of Louisville, Ky.,and Flora BLanche Robinson at home; a son, William of Donora; three brothers, George of Monessen, Furman and Theodore in Aluquippa;four sisters, Mrs. Gussie McDonald of Alliquippa,Mrs. Clara Mathis of Gary,Ind.,Mrs. Willie Sue Warren and Mrs Rosa Molton,both of Brighton, Ala and five grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen. Service on Monday,March 10,at 11 a.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,with the Rev. Edgar Archie,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper is the funeral director.
