James E. Reasby,74,of 611 Meldon Ave.,Donora died in Monongahela Memorial Hospital Thursday,Aug. 12,1965 at 10:25 p.m. Born in Muchakinock, Iowa,Jan. 23,1891,he was a member of the First Baptist Church,Donora, Ernest E. Jobes Post 695,American Legion,Donora,and was a past commander of the post. A veteran of World War I,he had lived in Donora 40 years. Mr. Reasby was retired from U.S. Steel Corporation's Donora works. Surviving are three nieces,Mrs. Verbena Gibson and Mrs. Ruth Smith,both of Milwaukee,Wis.,and Mrs. Naomi Hollis of Chicago, Ill.; six nephews,Lloyd Reasby of Butternut, Wis.,Clarence,Toussaint,James,Noble and Edward Reasby,all of Milwaukee. Friends will be r ceived at the Percy Law Funeral Home,Donora.
