Mary C. Rhoades,79,of 625 Speers St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday morning,June 11,1965, at 1:35 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was born in Plains,Pa., July 23,1885,a daughter of the late Edward F. and Elizabeth Curtis Rhoades. A Belle Vernon resident since 1907,she was a member of First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon;Order of Eastern Star, Belle Vernon. Surviving are two brothers, Warren Rhoades of Moosic,Pa. and Albert of Berryville, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Olivia Shunk, Raleigh,N. C.; several nieces and nephews including Jesse Edward Fox of Speers and Mrs. Elizabeth Ruby of Belle Vernon. Friends wil be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, after 7 p.m.June 12. Funeral services will be held Monday,June 14,at 1:30 p.m.from the funeral home. The Rev.S.Arthur Talman,pastor of First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
