John A.Russell;57;of Liberty St.Fayette City;died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Friday;September 28;1962;at 12:35 a.m. after a lingering illness. He was born in Allenport on March 3;1905. Mr.Russell was a member of St.Eusebius R.C.Church of Fayette City. Surviving are his widow;Mary;one daughter;Mrs.Joseph (Catherine) Gira of Baltimore;Md.;three sisters;Mrs.Margaret Scott and Mrs.Walter (Elizabeth) Griffin;both of New York City;and Mrs.Catherine Gargan of Morrisville;Pa. Two grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City where prayer will be held Monday;October 1 at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Eusebius R.C.Church;Fayette City.
