Mrs. Mary Perun Roman,82,of 107 Monessen St.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Monday,March 20,1961,at 6:30 p.m. She was born in Austria-Hungary,April 15,1878. She was a member of the St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen. Surviving are two sons,John Perun of Belle Vernon,R.D.3,and Steve Perun of Syracuse,N.Y.,two brothers, Joseph Nescot of Donora and Charles Nescot of Pasadena,Calif.,one sister,Mrs. Tillie Rotko,Auburn,N.Y.and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Prayer there on Thursday,March 23,at 8:30 a.m. will be followed by additional services at the St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church,Monessen,at 9 a.m. The Very Rev. John W. Govrusak will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
