Mrs. Ernesta Rossi, 76,of Dunlevy,died Wednesday, Jan.11,1961 at 8:30 a.m. at her home,following an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Rossi was born in Pistoia, Italy,June 20,1884,and came to Dunlevy in 1904. For many years,she and her husband operated a grocery store in Dunlevy,retiring in 1948. She was a member of Mary,Mother of the Church,Charleroi. Preceded in death by her husband,Romano Rossi on July 29,1956 she is survived by five sons,Ramo,Roger, Ralph and Ronald,all of Dunlevy,Thomas of Hayward, Calif.;one daugher,Mrs. Sigi (Rena) Santavicca of Dunlevy;one brother, Antonio Lenzi in Italy and fourteen grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, during the hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held in the Mary, Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church on Saturday, Jan. 14,1961,at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
