Obituary
Joseph Reed,86,of 333 Green street,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Saturday,October,15,1955,at 10:45 p.m. Mr.Reed was born in Italy,October 5,1869. He is survived by two sons,James and Arthur Reed of Belle Vernon,five daughters,Mrs.Andrew (Carrie) Andreis of Akron,Ohio,Mrs.Lena Marino of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Guido (Millie) Carputo,Mrs.Lloyd (Genevieve) Haffner and Mrs.Joseph (Virginia) Toth of Belle Vernon,ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St.Sebastian Church,Wednesday,October 19,1955,at 9:30 a.m.,by Rev.Francis Martin,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
