Mrs. Daisy Rhodes,nee Bethea,69,of First street,Pricedale,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Friday,November 12,1954,at 5:55 p.m. Mrs. Rhodes was born in Latta, South Carolina,February 20,1885. She was a member of the Speer Street Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three sons,Henry Bethea of Pricedale,Gordon Cribbs and William Cribbs of Pricedale,one daughter,Mrs. Marie Stitch of Pricedale,two brothers,Henry and Jesse Bethea of South Carolina,three sisters,Massie McCreay of New York,Liessa McCreay and Pearly McCreay in South Carolina;twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Tuesday,Nov. 16,1954,at 1:30 p.m.,followed by additional rites at 2 p.m. in the Speer Street Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,in charge of Rev. L.W. Owens. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
