Charleroi Division of Mon
Valley Hospital following a
lengthy illness. Mrs. Putnak was born May
4; 1907 in Wick Haven; a
daughter of the late Andrew
and Anna Obsharsky
Yuschak.
She attended Charleroi
Public Schools and was a Mon
Valley resident her entire life. Mrs. Putnak was a member
of Holy Trinity Orthodox
Church; Charleroi; and was a
former beauty operator in
Monongahela.
Her husband; Ignatius
Putnak; preceded her in death
in Dec. of 1958 as did a sister;
Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Kachala;
in 1971.
Survivors include two
brothers; John Yuschak of
Belle Vernon and Walter V.
Yuschak of Charleroi; and one
sister; Mrs Andrew (Helen)
Scheponik of Charleroi.
Friends will be received in
the Michael A. Melinchak
Funeral Home; Inc.; 825
Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi;
from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A brief Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m.followed by a Requiem Service in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;Charleroi;at 10:30 a.m. The Very Rev.John Kuchia will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m. Michael A.Melinchak is funeral director in charge of arrangements.
