Giacomo (Jack) Piacentino;82;of 931 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Feb.9;1977;at 5:25 a.m.at his home. He was born in Italy on Feb.6;1895 and had lived in the Belle Vernon area the past 40 years. Mr.Piacentino had been a blacksmith at the former American Window Glass Co.in Belle Vernon. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. His wife;Mary Enrico Piacentino;preceded him in death on Oct.15;1972. Surviving are a son;Angelo Piacentino of Hollywood;Fla.;two daughters;Mrs.Frank (Martina) Caruso of Belle Vernon;with whom he made his home;and Mrs. Thomas (Tressa) Mascara of Port St.Lucy;Fla.;eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday.Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
