Emma F.Parker of 447 Clarendon Ave.;Monessen;died Tuesday April 13;1976;at 5:40 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Doria;Ala. She was a member of the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church of Monessen and the church’s Senior Choir (of which she was a leader);Usher Board;Missionary Society and Nurses’Board. She was also a member of the Court of Calanthes. Surviving are two brothers;Nathaniel Parker of Chicago and George Parker of Dayton;Ohio;one sister;Minnie Davidson of Dayton;one uncle;Joseph Dadis of Chicago;a devoted friend;Alvin Snow of Monessen;many nieces and nephews;and several great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The body will be removed to the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;at 2 p.m.Friday and lie in state until services Saturday April 17;1976 at 1 p.m.;with the Rev.E.Archie officiating;assisted by the Rev.Griffin Mason. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
