Charles Pezek;60;of 704 Ninth St.;Monessen;was pronounced dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Friday;Nov.19;1971;at 9:10 p.m. He was a resident of Monessen the past 46 years and was retired from the blooming mill department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen Plant. He was a member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church;Hungarian Club;Croatian Club and Eagles Aerie 2399;all of Monessen. A son;Charles J.r;preceded him in death Feb.2;1968. Surviving are his widow;Elizabeth;two daughters;Mrs.Robert (Catherine) Coffman of Sacramento;Calif.;and Mrs.david (Shirley) Pecjak of Cleveland;Ohio;seven grandchildren;one brother;Arthur of Port View;and three sisters;Mary Pezek of Duquesne;Mrs.Irene Pacolay of Duquesne and Mrs.Julia Longo of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received after 2 p.m. Sunday at the John L.Kravets Funeral Home;Monessen;where a Blessing service will be held Tuesday;Nov.23;1971;at 9:30 a.m.with additional services to follow at 10 a.m.at St.Leonard’s R.C.Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Henry Dinicco;pastor;officiating.
