Obituary

Mrs.Mary Pidanic,85,of 619 Bluff St.,Belle Vernon,died suddenly,Tuesday,July 15,1969 at 12:40 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was a member of St.John the Divine R.O.Church,Monessen Surviving are five daughters,Mrs.Mary Spenik of Adah,Mrs.Anna Rosko of Duquesne,Mrs, Margaret Overcashier of Canonsburg,Mrs.Joseph (Rose) Szuch of Duquesne,Mrs.Andrew (Helen) Filak of Belle Vernon,a son,Peter Makar of Monngahela,25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. A son,Michael Pidanic,was killed in action on the USS Frankiln in March,1945. Friends wiil be recieved after 7 p.m. July 16 at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. July 17. Service in St.John the Divine R.O.Church,Monessen,at 9 a.m. Friday,July 18 with the Very Rev.John Govrusik,pastor,officiating. Internment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
