Obituary

William R.Perney,66,of 1010 Monongahela St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Dec.29,1968,at 5:50 p.m.in Shadyside Hospital,Pittsburgh. Mr.Perney retired this year after 26 years of service as a railroader for the Monessen-Southwestern Railroad of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow,Goldie Nolan Perney,four daughters,Mrs.William (Gladys) Lamey of Monessen,Mrs.Elmer (Mary) Spiker of Fairhope,Mrs.Robert (Verna) Hibbs of Tarpin Springs,Fla.,Mrs.Clarence (Clara) Wiltz of Charleroi,four sons,Stanley and Henry of Belle Vernon,Russell of Donora,twenty-three grandchildren,four brothers,Lawrence Peroney of Greenoak,Pa.,Humbert Peroney and Frank Peroney,both of Belle Vernon,John Perney of Pittsburgh,three sisters,Mrs.Ida Boucherle and Mrs.Grace Ferguson,both of Youngstown,Ohio,and Mrs.Elmeda Nichols of Fayette City. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Tuesday.
