Mrs. Minnie O.Price Prewitt,94,of 1117 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,died at her home Thursday,Oct. 10,1968 at 1:20 p.m. Born in Columbia,Ind.,Aug.18,1874,she was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Monessen. Mrs. Prewitt came to Monessen in 1918 from Indiana and then moved to Belle Vernon in 1957. Her husband,Charles A. Prewitt,died on May 29,1951. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Ditttman Feehan of Belle Vernon,with whom she made her home;a brother,David L. Price of Lapuenta,Calif.;two sisters,Mrs. Bruno Gipp of Chicago,Ill.,and Mrs. Walter Duckworth of Franklin,Ind. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Private funeral service will take place there Monday,Oct.14,at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph C. Rial Jr.,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Monessen officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Edwin Melenyzer is funeral director.
