Obituary
John Petros,61,co-proprietor with his wife,Anna,at a confectionery store in Belle Vernon for a number of years,died suddenly Wednesday,October 13,1965 at 1:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. His residence was 614 Fayette St., Belle Vernon. Mr. Petros was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose,Belle Vernon and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow,Anna Skuta Petros,a daughter,Mrs. Robert (Helen) Buzan,Tucson,Ariz.and two grandchilden. Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral home visiting hours are 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem Mass will be held Saturday,Oct.18 at 10 a.m.in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. The Rev. Martin J. O'Toole will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
