Mrs. Lillie Mae Peerman,73,of 921 Oakland Ave.,Charleroi,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Monday night, Aug. 19, 1963 at 11:25 o'clock. She was an active member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen. She served as a deaconess,was a Sunday School teacher and belonged to the Missionary society and the Circle of Ruth. She was also a member of the missionary society of the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Charleroi. She is survived by one son, Otto Payne of Charleroi,two daughters, Mrs. Levonia Moore of Gary, Ind. and Mrs. Marie Carter of Monessen,9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the DuBoise H. Carter Funeral Home,Monessen after 7 p.m. Wednesday,during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held in the Union Baptist Church,Monessen,Friday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m.,in charge of the Rev. D.D. Chatman,assisted by the Rev. N.R. Walker. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H. Carter of Monessen is the funeral director.
