Mrs. Nellie Pierce,83,of New Kensington,and a former resident of Fayette City,died Wednesday morning June 20,1962 at 4 o'clock in Citizens General Hospital,New Kensington. Born in Fayette City,November 16,1878,she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Hixenbaugh Carr. Surviving are her husband,Walter,and several nieces and nephews in the Fayette City area. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where services will be held Saturday,June 23,at 1:30 p.m.,conducted by the Rev. Leslie Papp,pastor of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
