Adam T. Piersa, 59, of 107 Grace St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday, Feb. 11,1961 at 5:20 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Piersa was a member of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association. He also belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 130 of Kane. He is survived by two daughters,Mrs. John (Rose) Parshall of Belle Vernon and Patricia Ann Piersa,at home;a grandson,two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kurek of Baltimore,Md.and Mrs. Walter (Stella) Sturtz of Detroit, Mich.and a brother,Chester of Franklin,Pa. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home, Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. from St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. Andrew King officiating at Requiem High Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
