Mrs. Bessie L. Peck,81,of 707 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,died Wednesday, August 31,1960 at 1:30 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial. She was born in Carbondale,Jan. 29,1889,the daughter of Frank and Bertha Griffin Pierce. She moved to Charleroi 37 years ago from Carbondale,and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She is survived by two sons, William of Coal Center and George Raymond Peck of Donora;two daughters, Mrs. Martha Chew of Smithton and Mrs. Myrtle Mugrage of Charleroi;two brothers, Edward Pierce of Philadelphia and Theodore of Carbondale;three sisters, Myrtle and Edna of Philadelphia and Ruth of Carbondale;fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home. Services will be held in the Assembly of God Church, North Charleroi,Sept. 3,1960,at 2 p.m.,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Reginald Bowman will be in charge. Franis C.
