Obituary

Stephen M. Pivarmk (Pivovarnik), 47, died of a heart attack at his home in Gillespie, Fayette City, R.D. , on Saturday, July 19,1958 at 8 p.m. He was born in Hostetter, Pa., Feb. 20, 1911, and had been employed at the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 801 at Roscoe, and the Independent Slovak Citizens' Club in Gillespie. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Edmunds Pivarnik, two daughters, Diann and Stephanie, at home: his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pivivarnik, Sr., Charleroi, four brothers, Frank, Andrew, Jr., Jacob, and Richard, all of Charleroi, and four sisters, Mrs. James (Pauline) Wilson, Bentleyville, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Horvat and Mrs. John (Anna) Rudinsky, both of Charleroi, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Volosin,Roscoe. Friends will be received at McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City until services are held there Wednesday,July 23,1958,at 2 p.m.,with Rev. D.Earl Daniels,Fayette City Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son are funeral directors.
