Mrs.Mary Catherine Piper;1229 Maple Ave.;Monessen;died Wednesday;Oct.9;1957; at 9:30 p.m.at her home. Born in Connellsville she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Brodigan. Mrs. Piper had lived in this vicinity for the past 27 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church here and the Women’s Benefit Association. She is survived by her husband;R.E.Piper;four sons;Charles;Joe and John;all at home and James;with the U.S.Air Force;two brothers;Thomas Brodigan of Connellsville and Joe of Baltimore;Md. Friends are being received at the Harry G.Harper Funeral Home;McKee Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the funeral home;with Rev.Vernon Bowers;pastor of the First Christian Church;in charge.
