Mrs.Ruth Palfrey of 138 Homewood avenue;Lynnwood;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Sunday July 28;1957;at 1:30 p.m. Mrs.Palfrey was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church;Fairhope;and served as the first president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Township Fire Department. She is survived by her husband;Thomas Palfrey;two sons;Thomas of Kearney;New Jersey;Frank of Stockdale;two daughters;Mrs.Edward (Marian) Gauden and Mrs.Joseph (Ellen) Augustine of Belle Vernon;one brother;John Stark of Lansdale;Pa.;and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday July 31;1957;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.James C.Puz. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
