Mrs. Mary Ann Piersa,aged 44 years,Grace street,Fairhope,died Monday,June 7,1954 at 9:35 p.m. in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh,after a lingering illness. She was born in Elk County,and moved to Fairhope in 1941 from Monessen. The deceased was a member of the followig organizations: St. Sebastian's Church of Belle Vernon,Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Townhip Firemen; Auxiliary of the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association;and the Ladies of the Moose of Belle Vernon. She is survived by her husband, Adam Piersa and two daughters, Rose Marie and Patricia Ann,both at home; seven brothers, John, Frank and Peter Chubon, all of Kane, Paul of Smithport, Vincent of Kinzua, Joseph of Crafton Heights and Anthony of Sacremento, Calif. The family will receive friends after 1 o'clock Wedesday afternoon at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday morning a 9:30 o'clock from St. Sebastian's R.C.Church in Belle Vernon, with Rev. Fr. Francis Martin officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H. Denver Rhome,Monessen, funeral director.
