Stephen Onufer,aged 42 years,of Fairhope,Fayette City,R.D.1,died Tuesday,April 19,at 1:10 p.m. at his late home of a heart attack. Born in Fayette City,the deceased had been employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Co. plant in Allenport. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church,Charleroi. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Yetsconish Onufer,a daughter,Stephanie; a sister, Mrs. George (Mary) Stetnik of Fayette City,R.D.; three brothers, Andrew of Finleyville, George and Joseph,both of Fayette City,R.D. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday,April 22,1955,at 9 a.m.,followed by additional rites at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, Charleroi. Rev. Gregory Soroka will be in charge and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
