Joseph Leo Bilski Jr.;77;of Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;April 4;2001;in Mon Valley Hospital. Born March 19;1924;in Mayfield;Pa.;he was the son of the late Joseph Sr.and Anna Bilski. He was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion;Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City;Charleroi VFW ;Arnold City PNA No.976;Fairhope Rod and Gun Club;Emporium VFW;Perryopolis Sokols;Allenport Retirees Bowling League and Friday Night Men’s Bowling League. H e was a veteran of World War II;serving in the U.S.Army. He was preceded in death by his first wife;Faye Levandowsky Bilski;a daughter;Florence;a son;John;and a brother;Clement Bilski. Survivors include his wife;Bertha Bilski;five children;Donna Bilski;Dee Dee Bilski and Marie Shellenberger;all of Belle Vernon;Cookie Dando of Newell and Ronald Skira of Arnold City;three brothers;Louis;John and Floyd Bilski;all of Belle Vernon;a sister;Adeline Barch of Belle Vernon;four grandchildren;Lisa Pollack;Chasity Girvin;Chrissy Broadwater and Michelle Skira;five great-grandchildren;Emily Pollock;Isaah Girvin;Nicholas Girvin;Tyler Girvin and Timmy Broawater;and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.;334 Main St.;Fayette City;on Thursday from 7 t 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday until 9:30 a.m.;when a blessing service will be held;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
