Obituary

Mrs.Alice Walker Nugent,75,of Belle Vernon R.D.1,died Tuesday,Nov.21,1967,at 5:40 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Stockdale on Sept.12,1892,she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Cain Campbell. Mrs.Nugent lived in Belle Vernon R.D.2 since Sept.of 1967. She formerly lived in Detroit,Mich.,15 years and before that in Charleroi. Her husband,James,died on Jan.8,1967. Surviving are a son,George V.Walker of Charleroi,three daughters,Mrs.John (Elsie) Lindsay of Seattle,Wash.,Mrs.Anna Roth of Wilmington,Calif.,and Mrs.Raymond (Bertha) Shetterly of Belle Vernon R.D.1,with whom she made her home,two brothers,Alexander and Emanuel Campbell of Charleroi,twenty-six grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon after 7 p.m.Nov.22. Service there Friday,Nov.24,at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Charles Colas,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Baptist Church officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
