Morgan Mack Newbill,of House 112,Pricedale,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday,June 7,1953. His condition had been listed as critical since he was admitted early last Sunday morning suffering shock,fractures of both legs and internal injuries. He was in an oxygen tent for the entire week. Mr. Newbill,who is sruvived by three brothers,James of Pricedale,Claude of Rocky Mount,Va. and McKinley of Twin Branch,W.Va.was hit by a car operated by Dr. William R. Vernon,58,of Perryopolis. The accident took place on the Monessen-Pricedale road near Rostraver Township High School when Mr. Newbill reportedly stepped into the path of Dr. Vernon's car,which was traveling towards the school. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home,Sixth street,Monessen. Funeral services will be held from the Draper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. A.C. Morris officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
