Obituary

The body of a 32-year-old Monessen man,who had been missing for two months,has been recovered from the Monongahela River in Forward Township. The Allegheny County coroner's office identified the man as Carl Miller of 467 Clarendon Ave. Cause of death was drowning,although the exact manner of death is unknown,said a coroner's office spokesman. Authorities said the body had been in the water for about two months. Mr.Miller,who was born July 10,1941,in New York City,lived with his mother,Mrs.Alma Miller. Surviving,in addition to his mother,is a sister,Harriet Miller of Harrisburg. Draper Funeral Home of Monessen announced that private services will be held Thursday at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
