Frank E. Madlenk,48,of Gillespie, Fayette City, R.D.1,died Tuesday morning July 27,1972 at 5:10 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Washington Twp.,a son of the late Ignatz Madlenk and of Rose Holub Madlenk,who survives. He was a member of Holy Spirit R.C. Church,Fayette City. He was a veteran of World War II,having served in the Army. He was employed at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. In addition to his mother,he is survived by his widow,Mary Steinbauer Madlenk; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Donna) Zuhovic of Uniontown and Linda at home; one brother,Ignatz Madlenk of Belle Vernon;two sisters, Mrs. John (Helen) Teringa and Mrs. John (Amelia) Gelotti,both of Fayette City R.D.1 and two grandchildren.Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where a wake service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and a Prayer service will be held Friday July 30,at 9:30 a.m. followed by Requiem high Mass at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,the Rev. Jospeh Tamiwaski,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCroy,funeral director.
