Phrone H.Martin;60;of 909 Fifth St.; Charleroi;died suddenly
at his home Sunday;June 6;1971; at 10 a.m. He was born in Fairhope and was a resident of Charleroi for
the past 19 years; formerly living
in Belle Vernon.
He was a turn foreman in the
oil well tubing department of
Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel’s
Allenport Plant.
He was a member of the
Charleroi Turners and the Rod
and Gun Club of Fairhope.
Surviving are his widow;
Margaret Cavanaugh Martin; one daughter;Mrs. John (Patricia)
Trozzo of Belle Vernon
R. D. 2; two brothers;Idris
Martin of Fellsburg and Bud
Martin of Roscoe;two sisters
Mrs. Hertha Jones of Monongahela and Mrs. Virginia Davis
of Fairhope; and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Monday. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday;June 9;at 1:30 p.m.with George Johnson;minister of the Church of Jesus Christ of Roscoe;officiating.
