Albert C.Manown;57;of Bentleyville;was found dead in his car at the 519 Truck Stop and Interstate 70 Saturday;April 25;1970. The Washington County coroner’s office said death was accidental;attributable to carbon monoxide (asphyziation). Mr.Manown was born in Finleyville on Sept.22;1912;the son of James and Mary Mellon Manown. He served with Headquarters Troop;5th Cavalry Regiment;in World War II and was a member of Charleroi Post 22;American Legion. Surviving are one son;William;of Toledo;Ohio;a brother;James;of Belle Vernon;and a sister;Mrs.Ida Wheatley of Coal Center R.D.1. Friends are being received at Kenneth V.Thompson Funeral Home;809 Main St.;Bentleyville. Service there Tuesday;April 28;1970;at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth McCay officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Military service by American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi at the funeral home April 27 at 9 p.m. Kenneth V.Thompson Funeral Home in charge.
