Mrs. Rose L. Mitchell of 2377 Spring Hill St.,Inkster,Mich.,formerly of Monessen,died Sunday,Jan. 4,1970,in Wayne County (Michigan) General Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Mitchell had lived in Monessen over 41 years. She moved to Inkster five years ago. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and Star of Bethlehem Chapter No.34,Order of Eastern Star,both of Monessen. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bennie Lee Lawson of Pittsburgh and Odelle Mitchell of Inkster,with whom she made her home;two sisters,Mrs. Ardel Williams of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Louise Moore of Dublin,Ga.;a brother,the Rev. Jasper King of Dublin,Ga.;seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen after 7 p.m. Jan.6. Service Thursday,Jan.8,at 11 a.m. in Union Baptist Church,Monessen. The Rev. Philip L.Greene will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper is funeral director.
