G.Edward Michener;of 829 Jane Ave.;Speers Hill;died Sunday;Nov.2;1969;at 2:30 p.m. at his home. Mr.Michener was born in Charleroi;April 26;1907;a son of the late Earl E.and Ceil Reitz Michener. He was a veteran of World War II;serving with the U.S.Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post No.22. He was employed as a shipping clerk for Sealtest Foods Co. Survivors include his widow;Kathryn Tope Michener;one son;George E.Jr.of Lorain;Ohio;two daughters;Mrs.Charles E.(Patricia) Tedrow;of Fallowfield Twp.and Mrs.Raymond (Sally) Hough;of Speers Hill;one sister;Mrs.Richard Phillips;of Waddsworth;Ohio;12 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;Charleroi from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m.where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Charles K.Sowden of the Speers Methodist Church in charge.
