Louis A. Moreau, 77,of 21 Arch St.,Monessen,died Tuesday, Aug. 6,1968 after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Moreau was born in France,Jan. 16,1891. He was a member of St. Leonard's R.C.Church,Monessen and a member of the French Club and Belgian Club of Charleroi. He was a first helper of the open hearth of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. until his retirement in 1956. Survivors include his widow,Louisa (Massey) Moreau;two sons, Eugene of Monessen and Gustave of South Gate, Calif.;one daughter, Mrs. Herman (Augustine) Behrendt of Monessen;two brothers, George of Pittsburgh and Lawrence of McKeesport;two sisters, Mrs. George (Angel) Reach of Monessen and Mrs. Jeanne Cohen of Belle Vernon and five grandchildren. Friends are being received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,Monessen. Funeral services will be held Friday,Aug. 9,1968 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Requiem High Mass at the St. Leonard's R.C.Church with the Rev. Regis M. Hickey officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
