John E. Mobley,77, retired director of Veterans Affairs of Westmoreland County,died suddenly Wednesday, Nov. 8,1967 at 10:25 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He lived at 806 Speer St.,Belle Vernon. A past commander of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659,he was a membr of First Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow, Helen Waterson Mobley,a daughter Mrs. John (Vivian) Nygren of Eagle Lake, Wis.,a son, John Vernon Mobley of Connellsville;two step-sons, Howard E. Waterson of the state of New Jersey and Grant R. Waterson of Greensburg. Friends are being received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
