at 2:45 p.m. Surviving are a brother; Edward Morris of St. Petersburg; Fla.; two sisters; Mrs. Walter
(Eva) BROMWICH of St. Petersburg and Mrs. Betha ARN; with whom she made her home. Friends will
be received after 7 p.m. Jan 5 at the Shelby D. Furgeson Funeral Home; Belle Vernon. Service there
Saturday; Jan 7; at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Linn Chester Edwards; pastor of the Trinity Episcopal Church of
Monessen; officiating. Interment; Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral home visiting hours are 2 to 5 and 7
to 10 p.m. Shelby D. Furgeson; funeral director.

Obituary

Winifred A.Morris,63,who retired in 1965 after a teaching career of 35 years,died at her home,1011 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,Wednesday,January 4,1967,at 2:45 p.m.  Miss Morris taught in Fallowfield Twp.,North Belle Vernon,Bellmarette and Rostraver Twp.schools.  Later she was in charge of vocal music in the Monessen Junior High School,and retired from the Monessen School District.  During her teaching career she directed many student musical and dramatic productions and organized vocal ensembles.  A resident of Belle Vernon most of her life,she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church,Monessen,where she directed the choir for more than 40 years.  She was a teacher in the Church School for many years.  She was graduated from California Normal School.  Born in Barnesboro,Pa.,June 20,1903,whe was a daughter of the late Arthur A.and Bessie Warbutton Morris.  Surviving are one brother,Edward Morris of St.Petersburg,Fla;two sisters,Mrs.Walter (Eva) Bromwich of St.Petersburg and Mrs.Bertha Arn,with whom she made her home.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Jan.5 at the Shelby D.ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon.  Service there Saturday,Jan.7,at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Linn Chester Edwards,pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church of Monessen,officiating.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Funeral home visiting hours are 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
