Ralph E. Mahoney;57;of Phoenix; Ariz. died suddenly Sunday;Aug.29;1965;
at 3:30 a.m. in Charleroi- Monessen Hospital. Mr. Mahoney had been visiting with his mother-in-law; Mrs. Fred Zollars of Belle Vernon. Mr. Mahoney was employed
as a staff writer for the Arizona Republic newspaper in Phoenix
and was a former employe of The Charleroi Mail and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving him are his widow; Mrs. Vera Zollars Mahoney; one daughter;Karen; and one
son; Kurt;both of Phoenix;his mother; Mrs. Edith Mahoney of Pittsburgh; two sisters; Edna Mahoney of Pittsburgh and Mrs.
James (Marion) Lake of Canton; Ohio. Friends will be received at
the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday;Sept.1;1965;at 2 p.m.from the funeral home with the Rev.Charles Zacher of Christ Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating.
