A Monessen resident for 48 years,Mrs. Mary (Leone) Merando,60,of 407 Shady Ave.,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Thursday, April 1,1965 about 2:30 a.m. She was a member of St. Cajetan's Roman Catholic Church,the Rosary Altar Society of the church,the Ladies of Mutual Aid and the Ladies Lodge of the North Italian Political Association, all of Monesen. Surviving are her husband, Sam;a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Marie) Litterini of Monessn;two sons, Anthony and Louis,both of Monessen;four grandchildren; her father,Antonio Leone of Monessen;three sisters, Florence Lenne and Mrs. Charles (Julia) Borfuse,both of Monessen,Mrs. Warren (Paricia)Ramsey of Pittsburgh;three brothers, ALfred,John and Thomas Leone,all of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home,Monessen. Visiitng hours will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
