Mrs.Laura L.McCreary of West Newton;former resident of Monessen;died Friday in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs.McCreary was born April 29;1886;a daughter of the late John and Sarah Shillinger Manewal.  She was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen.  Preceded in death by her husband;Lee N.McCreary;she is survived by a daughter;Mrs.Calvin (Mabel) Schwab of West Newton;9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  Friends are being received at the William H.Culler Funeral Home;West Newton;where funeral services will be held Tuesday Aug.29;at 2 p.m.  The Rev.John H.Schulz;pastor of St.Paul Lutheran Church;Monessen will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  William H.Culler Funeral Home;funeral director.
