Frank Marasco;80;of 20 Sampson St.;Belle Vernon;died in Washington Hospital;Tuesday morning;June 14;1960;at 5 o’clock. He was born in Italy and was a member of St.Sebastian Church. He also belonged to the Guiseppe Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy;and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America;having retired from the Somers Mine on Sept.25;1945. He had resided in Belle Vernon for 48 years. He is survived by his wife;Philomena;two sons;D.Chess Marasco;of Belle Vernon;John at home;six daughters;Mrs.Joseph (Mary) Spina and Mrs.Elio (Rose) Checchi;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Bruno (Margaret) Duronio of Monessen;Mrs.Lawrence (Theresa) Menzel of Uniontown;and Misses Josephine and Gilda Marasco at home;one brother;James Marasco of Belle Vernon;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 p.m.Wednesday. Requiem Mass will be sung in St.Sebastian Church on Friday;June 17;1960;at 10 a.m.by Rev.Andrew King.
