J. Edward Morgan,63,201 Wood St.,Belle Venon,died Tuesday morning,June 14,1960,at 1:30 o'clock at his home. Mr. Morgan was a Navy veteran of World War I, serving with a submarine division. He was a member of Mon Valley Barracks,350 World War I. He was employed as a welder at the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. He is survived by his wife, Lourena Morgan,three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Patricia) Seamon,Catonsville,Md.,Mrs. Frank (Joan) Bello,Speers Hill,and Mrs. Vernon (Jacqueline) Johnson,Akron,Ohio,one sister,Mrs. Elizabeth Connolly of St. Petersburg,Florda and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Thursday,June 16,1960,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. William Schatz.
