Peter Maund;83;a Webster resident for the past 25 years;died Friday;March 18;1960;at 8 a.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital where he was admitted as a patient last Tuesday. Mr.Maund lived in Monessen for a number of years before moving to Donora. He was born in County Durham;England;May 8;1876 and came to this country when he was 12 years old. He was retired ten years ago from work as an inspector for Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are two sons;Charles of Monongahela and Geore of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Lyda Stevenson of Webster and Mrs.Samuel (Elsie) Benedetti of Belle Vernon;eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. His wife;Adeline;died eight years ago this month. Friends are being received at the Lawson Funeral Home;Donora;where funeral services will be held Monday;March 21;at 2 p.m. the Rev.Charles Brightwell;pastor of Webster Presbyterian Church will officiate.
