Obituary

James Henry McCauley,45,of 1203 Hill street,Belle Vernon,died in Washington Hospital,Sunday,February 8,1959,at 10:40 p.m. He was born in Ellsworth on July 12,1913,and had been a resident of Belle Vernon for twenty-two years. For the past ten years he was employed by the Bethlehem Collieries,Ellsworth,and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He was a member of the Union Church at Pricedale. He is survived by his wife,Ann Moneta McCauley,one son,James Brian at home,his mother,Mrs.Margaret McCauley of California,Pa.,one brother,Clarence of Ambridge,four sisters,Mrs.Edith Hale Gifford, of Chicago,Ill.,Mrs.Marjorie Loar,of California,Pa.,Mrs.Theresa Toogood,of Ambridge,and Mrs. Edna DeSellem,of Charleroi. Friends are being received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 p.m.and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday,Feb.11,at 2 p.m. with Paul Sweitzer,of the Pricedale Union Church,officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
