James E. Miller,52,of California,Pa.,formerly of Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Sunday,December 23,1956,at 5 p.m. Mr. Miller was a member of the Methodist Church of California,and was employed by Lincoln Homes in Belle Vernon. He is survived by one son,James W.,of California,a daughter,Charlotte at home,his mother,Mrs. James A. Miller of Belle Vernon,R.D.,one brother,Howard Miller of Belle Vernon,R.D.,and a sister,Mrs. Beatrice Dessent of Clarksburg,West Virginia. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday,December 26,1956,at 2 p.m.,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
