Victor Massey;73;of 510 Third street;Monessen;died at his home;Saturday;February 24;1956;at 8:10 p.m. Mr.Massey was employed in the blast furnace department of Pittsburgh Steel company in Monessen until 1925;and then operated Massey’s Confectionery at Third street;Monessen;until 1951. He then became steward of the Franco-Belgium club;and in 1954;retired from this position. He was a charter member of the Franco-Belgium club. He is survived by his wife;Augustine Guibourdanche Massey;one son;Gustave;of Monessen;a brother;Herman of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Lewis (Louise) Morreau and Emily Massey;both of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday;February 29;1956;at 2 p.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
