Obituary
Rand McGee,61 years,of 1013 Brown street,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Jan. 20,1956,at 3:15 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion Joseph H. Ford Post 691 of Monessen and was the oldest deacon of the Antioch Baptist Church in Belle Vernon. He was a resident of Belle Vernon for 30 years. At the time of his death,he was employed by the Rieck Dairy Company of Charleroi. Surviving are his wife, Josie McGee;two sisters,Mrs. Della Owens,of Hollins,Ala.,and Mrs. Annie Jackson,of Warren,Ohio;and one brother,George of McDonald,Pa. He is also survived by one grandson. Friends will be received at the late home after six o'clock Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held at the Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon on Monday,January 23,at 2 p.m. with Rev. A.C. Morris officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
